Four protesters arrested Wednesday at Walt Disney Studios in Burbank -- after officials said two dressed as Mickey and Minnie Mouse chained themselves to the entry gates and others climbed on the perimeter wall -- were booked on suspicion of trespassing.
The Burbank Police Department said bail was set at $1,000 each.
The four unfurled a banner protesting what they said was the studio's use of fiber from endangered Indonesian rain forests in its children's books. The protesters were with the San Francisco-based Rainforest Action Network, according to an announcement sent from the organization.
The group said use of the rain forest threatens endangered species such as the Sumatran tiger.
