U.S. Attitude Towards Climate Change Causes Despair

Americans - this American included - are deeply self-centered. Many have become lazy and petulant, refusing to accept that their lifestyle is killing the Earth. What had been a rugged, free and individual based society has become pampered and spoiled, too afraid to look in the "mirror" to see what they have become.

Climate Change Experts Despair Over U.S. Attitude

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Climate change experts said on Tuesday they are frustrated the U.S. government and the public are not taking the risk of global warming seriously. They said even as sea levels rise and crop yields fall, officials argue over whether climate change is real and Americans continue to drive fuel-guzzling SUVs.
